i thought as much, just wanted to be sure though I read up to that part in the manga now and instantly ran to your doujin, there was a moment, before he said he understood the heart, and just before he made the comment about his organs not being able to regenerate, he had a look on his face, i want to say a look of loss or sympathy, I personally think that was when he finally realised what the heart was, more to the point he was looking at orihime when he pulled that expression, that could just be me though ^^"
There's a panel during The Lust 4 I think when Kubo's inker colored in Ulquiorra's eyes to look like they do in Segunda Etapa by mistake, and then the panel right after Ichigo's hollow form disappears and Ulquiorra's thinking "High speed regeneration!?", they forgot to color in one of the tear-marks.
I notice the most random crap, it's ridiculous.
Sightly less of a mistake, the panel of Ichigo right after the accidental-segunda-etapa-eyes, Ichigo's eyes are starting to turn black. It was evident like 2 chapters in advance that Ichigo was gonna lose control of himself to his Hollow form QnQ I didn't actually notice that part though until after Manga Reader updated their archive with higher quality scans. The low quality ones were too badly degraded to see small details.
I just went to look, if you go on Manga reader, it's page 12 of 'The Lust' so very close, but i hadn't seen that mistake before, however i noticed the uncoloured tear mark.
Still it makes you a better artist because of it though
Just looked again, and it's true, i wonder if that was on purpose though so people where able to predict what was going to happen or not? who knows.... I physically hate low quality scans :/ it happened for one of my favourite manga's and it made me want to cry :/
The marks are returning to normal because he's slowly dropping out of Segunda Etapa. He did it before, right as he was dying. You can see the marks change, and his eyes go back to normal, as he's telling Ichigo to kill him, and Ichigo refuses.
In a way, I did because Orihime once said she couldn't see herself reflected in Ichigo's eyes (while he had his mask on, and his eyes were black/gold). Since Ulquiorra's are the same color in this form, I wanted him to half-way let that go so Orihime would see his normal eyes, and not be afraid.
